下川麗子(旧:中務) Reiko Shimokawa, nee Nakatsukasa
第8回カナダパシフィックピアノコンクール第2位。 2000年度ヤマハ音楽支援制度受賞。 1993年に渡英し王立音大、トリニティー音大、ギルドホールにて研鑚を積む。 1999年ハンガリーにてブタペストコンサート交響楽団と共演。カナダ・ヴィクトリア大学にて修士課程修得。 2005年ブリティッシュコロンビア大学演奏ディプロマ課程修了。カナダCBCラジオ「デビュー」出演。

Paul Roberts, Ronan Magill, Dr. Sara Davis Buechner, Bruce Vogt, Lee Kum-Sing他の諸氏に師事。

CD「色とりどりの大地の夢の中に」「道化師たちの調べ」リリース。

現在、ミュージックアカデミー東京講師。

Reiko Shimokawa

Reiko Shimokawa, nee Nakatsukasa is a recipient of numerous awards including 2nd prize at the 8th Pacific Piano competition (2002) and Musical Activity Award from Yamaha Music Foundation in Japan (2001).Her appearances in Vancouver include “DEBUT” series at CBC Radio 2 in 2001, ICAS TV charity concert in 2003. She has performed Schumann concerto with the Budapest Concert Orchestra in Hungary (1999) and has extensively performed in England while she gained her initial trainings at Royal College of Music, Trinity College of Music and Guildhall school of Music and Drama. . She has participated many international music courses throughout Europe studying with renowned teachers including David Dolan, Philip Fowke, Ronan Magill, Hiroko Mukunoki, Lee Kum-Sing,Noriko Ogura, Alan Rowlands, Paul Roberts, Haruko Ueda, and Yu-Chung Yee. Her 2 CDs has been released in Japan, entitled “In Earth’s many colored dream” and “Tunes of Clowns”. She gave a two-piano recital in Japan in 2003 with Prof. Bruce Vogt whom she studied with at University of Victoria during her Masters degree. In 2005, She has completed Diploma in Music Performance course at UBC where she studied with Lee Kum Sing and Dr. Sara Davis Buechner for piano and Doreen Oke for harpsichord..Her interest in Baroque music led her to participate in Vancouver Early Music Festival in 2004. She gave a huge success on the collaboration event with Japanese comic story teller "Rakugoka" Emimaru Hayashiya and Aurora Kaedeya playing with flutist Chieko Konishi Louie in "An evening of Rakugo and Classical Music" in Vancouver, February 2004.She performed the Albeniz Piano Concerto with the Osaka Symphoniker in Japan in April 2005. She had a great sucess on "Rakugo Ensemble~Love's sickness for Classical Music" in Tokyo and Osaka in 2006 as well as Osaka FM event at Sogo theatre in 2007. She now teaches at Music Academy Tokyo in Japan.

Her newest recording will be available at Music Academy Tokyo recorded Tempest 1st and 3rd mov. of Beethoven along with other piano instructors.
